Making the decision to convert an image to black and white is not always easy. Sometimes it’s done purely for technical reasons… maybe the origin color version just doesn’t work… too busy or maybe you need to hide something like chromatic aberration and you don’t know how to correct it with your software(correcting it is another blog post). This image is fine in color. I like it a lot but the black and white version, in my opinion, focuses more on the light in this image and adds to the overall mood.
This past weekend we had the opportunity to work with some of the best talent in Seattle. It marks our first production as Suspended Image.™ Melding all talents… beauty, fashion, lifestyle and architecture… we wanted to showcase the hairstyles with our own style.
It was a full and productive day of shooting, laughter and fun. At the end of the day, I’m sure we were all a bit achy… I sure was

I was the main shooter for the day but Candice somehow managed to push me out of the way (haha) and get some beautiful shots.
