B&W vs Color
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009Making the decision to convert an image to black and white is not always easy. Sometimes it’s done purely for technical reasons… maybe the origin color version just doesn’t work… too busy or maybe you need to hide something like chromatic aberration and you don’t know how to correct it with your software(correcting it is another blog post). This image is fine in color. I like it a lot but the black and white version, in my opinion, focuses more on the light in this image and adds to the overall mood.

Saturday, February 28th, 2009This past weekend we had the opportunity to work with some of the best talent in Seattle. It marks our first production as Suspended Image.™ Melding all talents… beauty, fashion, lifestyle and architecture… we wanted to showcase the hairstyles with our own style.
It was a full and productive day of shooting, laughter and fun. At the end of the day, I’m sure we were all a bit achy… I sure was

Monday, January 26th, 2009A couple of weeks ago I rented a studio space for a day. Along with a makeup artist, I had only 3 models but lots of concepts in mind. It was a long day but seriously, it just fly by. I didn’t actually shoot everything I set out to shoot but I’m happy with what we got accomplished for the day. Here are a few of my favorites.
