I posted at the beginning of the year about the new endeavour, and now it’s been a couple of weeks since the Suspended Image™ website went live. Very excited!

With this I just want to add that I’ll be posting all the new stuff on the new blog. Hope to see you there!

Still working out how best to watermark the images, in case you were wondering what-the-heck was going on. haha.

Making the decision to convert an image to black and white is not always easy. Sometimes it’s done purely for technical reasons… maybe the origin color version just doesn’t work… too busy or maybe you need to hide something like chromatic aberration and you don’t know how to correct it with your software(correcting it is another blog post). This image is fine in color. I like it a lot but the black and white version, in my opinion, focuses more on the light in this image and adds to the overall mood.

This past weekend we had the opportunity to work with some of the best talent in Seattle. It marks our first production as Suspended Image.™ Melding all talents… beauty, fashion, lifestyle and architecture… we wanted to showcase the hairstyles with our own style.

It was a full and productive day of shooting, laughter and fun. At the end of the day, I’m sure we were all a bit achy… I sure was
